Kinetic Analysis is proud to be a project partner in the European Healthy Lifestyle Actions (EHLA) initiative, a two-year Erasmus+ Sport project (2024–2026), co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, focused on bridging the persistent gap between awareness and action in physical activity across Europe.
Despite years of public health campaigns, too many Europeans remain inactive. EHLA aims to tackle this by identifying the three most innovative and impactful measures that promote physical activity—going beyond slogans to deliver evidence-based, practical solutions. These strategies will be piloted in schools and tested across communities in five countries: Belgium, the Netherlands, Ireland, Italy, and Turkey.

As part of a multidisciplinary consortium, Kinetic Analysis will contribute its expertise in software development and health technology to help design smart tools that support real-world behaviour change. In line with previous efforts such as the Vital Cities Challenge, this includes creating digital solutions, developing practical guidelines, and supporting the rollout of a Capacity Building Programme that equips professionals with the skills to embed these practices sustainably.
The EHLA consortium brings together key partners from across Europe:
Surpassport (Ireland, project coordinator)
SportDrenthe (Netherlands)
Sports Activities and Administration Trade Inc. (Turkey)
UISP (Italy)
Kinetic Analysis B.V. (Netherlands)
By turning research into action, EHLA seeks to inspire a Europe where healthier choices are not only possible but easier to make.
